POUPC 3002 Water-Based Borate Ester
Production description:
POUPC 3002 is a water-soluble, liquid and Nitrogen-containing borate ester which can exhibit good anti-corrosion performance. Meanwhile it, has good anti-wear and friction reducing properties. So it is widely used in total synthetic and half synthetic water-based metalworking fluids. What’s more, it is free of Sulfur, Phosphorus and Chlorine and enjoys good hydrolytic stability, hence it works as an excellent environmental friendly lubricant additive.

Molecular Formula & Mechanism of Action:
Organic borate ester forms a physic or chemical absorbed film. Under the high temperature, high pressure, high shear force, metal dislocation and exoelectrons, the absorbed film makes the additives resolve or react with surface metal, generating H3PO3, B2O3 and other non-sacrified deposited films. As the recombination action of these deposited films, the borate ester performs excellent carrying capacity and friction reducing function. Nitrogen element in the molecular formula forms Nitrogen boron intramolecular coordination bond, so it has good hydrolytic stability.
